  • Boundaries

    (next session to be announced)

Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend have researched and compiled tough questions and answers on how to set healthy boundaries with parents, spouses, children, friends, coworkers and even with yourself! Boundaries can be set physically, mentally, and emotionally and help us address questions such as:

    • Can I set limits and still be a loving person?
    • Why do I feel guilty when I consider setting boundaries?
    • What if someone is upset or hurt by my boundaries?

"Many clinical psychological symptoms, such as depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, addictions, impulsive disorders, guilt and shame issues, panic disorders, and marital and relational struggles, find their root in conflicts with boundaries." (Page 28 Boundaries)

If this resonates with you, come in and join us for this study! Please call the church or email

  • ROOT 320

ROOT 320   (next session to be announced)
What is at the ROOT of your Behavior? Learn to understand what drives your unhealthy behavior and gain tools to overcome destructive patterns to live a fuller, healthier life!

Every one of us struggles with an addiction or tendency of some kind...some are just more obvious than others. Drugs, alcohol, narcotics and gambling are the obvious ones that come to mind, but there are also addictions and/or tendencies to food, shopping, pornography, self-harm, work, over-commitment, power, and attention that don't necessarily get as much of our focus, but can be equally as harmful. Whatever your battle is, there is HOPE! That's why I developed ROOT 320. I'll tell you a little about it...

This program is designed to help you identify the root of what drives your unhealthy behavior. Rarely is there just one specific reason why you behave the way you do. It can be a combination of genetic tendencies, life experiences, choices, and coping mechanisms which drive your continued behaviors. A guy named Paul once said, "I don't understand myself at all, for I really want to do what is right, but I don't do it. Instead, I do the very thing I hate." I'm sure if you're anything like me, you've said that once or twice! I want to introduce you to Paul and to some people right here in Libby who are figuring out how to overcome their behaviors and live a much fuller, healthier life.

This is an 8 week class with a suggested donation of $5 per class. If you can't make every class, that's not a deal breaker. I'm positive you'll be able to take something away from the classes you do attend, which will be helpful for you. We will look at things from a medical, emotional, spiritual, and relational standpoint. We will learn why just trying to change the behavior is rarely successful, and we will encourage and relate to one another. It is truly my passion to see people overcome! Life can be lived without regret!

  • Break the Cycle: a pain management program

This program is directed towards anyone experiencing chronic, non-cancer pain. If you suffer from: depression, anxiety, fibromyalgia, arthritis, chronic back pain, headaches/migraines, peripheral neuropathy, pain from unknown source, or injury related pain, this program will give you hope! This 8 week program is offered on a "as need basis" so please let Liz know if this is something that could benefit you! She can work with your medical provider as well to create a team of support/encouragement/cohesion
